Pincone Press is a seasonal publication produced for Backwoods. With corporate headquarters in Austin, Texas, Backwoods is a gear and apparel outfitter that was founded in 1973 and has since expanded to nine stores throughout the midwest.

Mountain High Media handles publication of Pinecone Press from start to finish, including writing, editing, design, printing, and mail delivery. The store magazine features interviews with high-profile figures from the outdoor industry, travel destination stories, and news from the Backwoods stores.
